UNICOIL (Universal Metal Coating Company) was established in 1997 as the first company in the Middle East to manufacture pre-painted steel and aluminum coils. The company is located in Jubail, a key industrial and port city in the Eastern Province of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. UNICOIL was founded as a joint venture by two Saudi industrial pioneers, Zamil Group Holding Company and Rashed AlRashed Group, together with BHP of Australia, a global leader in the pre-painted steel industry, with an initial annual production capacity of 120,000 metric tons.
