The centrepiece of the UNICOIL administration building is its fountain and aquarium. These invariably catch the attention of visitors and guests as they enter the building. The rippling, cool water visually and mentally refreshes spirits that may grow tired and weary during a long working day.
The UNICOIL Environment
UNICOIL management believes that the company and its employees benefit in being close to nature, and so has developed a green landscape at its manufacturing facility. Close to 25% of the open areas of UNICOIL facility have been converted into a natural green landscape.
Having outdoor water fountains at various locations helps people to unwind and relax after long-working day. The soothing sound of water provides stress-reducing benefit; visitors love it. In line with its clean and green vision, UNICOIL’s landscape is refreshing and invigorating.

Waste Segregation:
UNICOIL emphasizes the segregation and recycling of waste materials. Bins are placed at different locations around UNICOIL for allowing different waste materials to be separated into recyclable and non-recyclable types.
Solar Project:
UNICOIL is evaluating solar project involving installing solar panels on factory roof top to generate clean electricity, for cutting energy costs and lowering carbon foot print. The project when fully implemented is expected to give carbon savings of 1,820,800 kg Co2 per year. A Pilot project is installed for evaluation.

Best Environmental Performance Award
UNICOIL is awarded “Best Environmental Performance Award” for the 2 consecutive years from the Jubail Royal Commission for its efforts during 2015, in a function held on June 5, 2016 on the occasion of World Environmental Day celebrations. UNICOIL earned this award through its continuous efforts in the protection of the internal environment of the company and its ongoing awareness campaigns to protect the environment and public health of the community
